Volunteer Sessions

Stay tuned as our 2020 volunteer sessions are starting in the soon! Please contact us at Indigenousgardenlfs.irp@ubc.ca

Due to COVID-19 our volunteer sessions are limited to small groups of 4 at one time.

Garden Volunteer Sessions

At the Garden we work under/with any weather conditions that flows from the natural cycles of our Mother Earth, so when you come to work with us come dressed for the weather. We have extra rain boots, gardening tools, and gloves to share and sometimes food! However, please bring a snack, water bottle, a friend, and family member of any age.  No garden experience necessary, you just have to show up and be open to spend time in community!

You will find us in the Indigenous Health Garden at the UBC Farm. The most up-to-date directions to the UBC Farm can be found here. Once at the Farm, you can follow the “Aboriginal Health Gardens” signs or follow this map to find our garden. Thanks in advance for your time, energy, and wiliness to join in the collective work to support and nurture the land and all our relatives!

We look forward to seeing you around the Garden this season!
