Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Volunteer Sessions

xʷc̓ic̓əsəm PSA (Public Service Announcement)

Due to COVID-19, our volunteer sessions are limited to small groups of 4 at one time.

Garden Volunteer Sessions

At the Garden, we work under/with work under any weather conditions that flow from the natural cycles of our Mother Earth. When you come to work with us come dressed for the weather. We have extra rain boots, gardening tools, gloves to share and sometimes food! However, please bring a snack, water bottle, a friend, and a family member of any age.  No garden experience is necessary; you just have to show up and be open to spending time in community!

You will find us in the Indigenous Health Garden at the UBC Farm. The most up-to-date directions to the UBC Farm can be found here. Once at the Farm, you can follow the xʷc̓ic̓əsəm Gardens‘ signs or follow this map to find our garden. Thanks in advance for your time, energy, and wiliness to join in the collective work to support and nurture the land and all our relatives!

We look forward to seeing you around the Garden this season!
